INTRODUCTION SEVEN CDS BOX EDITION


In 2018 for the 20th Anniversary of the first issue on CD of Hendrik Bouman’s

period compositions, [in Baroque & Classical styles] a limited edition box set of 7 CDs was released

with a 60 page booklet by Hendrik Bouman - Notes of the Composer on his compositions.


Hendrik Bouman dedicates his Box collection of Seven CDs to his wife and muse Anna.


This collection contains: Hendrik Bouman’s CD 5 Baroque Concertos  performed by his ensemble THE Baroque Muse / Baroque SaMuse;

His  CD 7 Baroque solos for unaccompanied instruments, performed with his ensemble Baroque SaMuse and its soloists.


In addition the Seven CDs Box edition contains over forty of Hendrik Boumans compositions for harpsichord and piano / fortepiano which were recorded during the years from 1997 to 2016 on 5 CDs in the series ‘Notebook for Anna dedicated to his wife and music Anna


In his 1st Notebook for Anna 'The Lord's Compassion' is the title Hendrik Bouman assigned to his transcription of Rameau’s 'Entrée' from Les Boréades which he made in Italy where he and  wife Anna and their young boy and girl were living in the early ninetees.
